Parish Council Vacancy

Tom Patch retired from the Council a few months ago. Tom was a Councillor since June 1979 and had been Chairman of the council until 2015. His local knowledge and common sense approach to local issues were always respected and his leadership was amongst the longest of chairmen. Many many thanks Tom for all your hard work.
As a result there is an immediate vacancy and applications are invited from local residents. Responsibilities include attending monthly meetings and keeping up to date with information sent out, normally by email. An interest in local affairs is essential and applications are invited to the clerk with a short CV and a brief statement of your interest. The parish council is able to make an appointment for suitable candidates, at its next meeting. If you are unsure and would like any further information please feel free to ring me to discuss.
