Stockland Fair has its origins during the reign of King Henry III in 1252. Here we are over 750 years later and we need YOUR HELP to keep this event running. Described as a ‘glorious, one-day traditional English country fair’ it takes place on the late May Bank Holiday, attracts over 2000 visitors and raises a considerable amount of money for local causes.
Stockland Fair does not run itself and we are in urgent need of more help. There are lots of ways to get involved…
• Site clear up of the hall grounds a week before (Sunday 20th May)
• Setting up stalls etc. on the day before (Sunday 27th May) and possibly on the morning of the Fair, depending on the weather.
• Car parking
• Staffing stalls and attractions
• Dismantling and clearing up after the Fair.
If you want to get more involved we would also welcome fresh enthusiasm and energy on to the Fair team.
